Plein Air Sun Coast is located on the west coast in the Sarasota area serving Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. There are no dues and anyone willing to participate and help with events is welcome. We normally meet once a week to paint for the day in the Sarasota area. Contact: Val Sandell, 941.966.3326
Next Event: Sep 11 Thu - Painting at Siesta Beach in Siesta Key FL from 9am-Noon. Expect to see beach scenes, colorful life guard stands, sea grapes, condos and plenty of tourists. Please remember bug repellant as one of us got into a huge hill of fire ants when we painted there. Sandra plans to be there by 8am. Meet at the pavilion.
Directions: From I-75 take the Clark Rd exit west and go quite a way to cross US-41, which becomes Stickney Point Rd, and go to the end of the road at Midnight Pass Rd. Take a right and find Siesta Key Beach on your left after the fire station. We usually park in the left parking lot near the playground.
