Barbara has been an artist most of her life. Her most intense study began at the Paier School of Art in Connecticut. Residing in Florida, she is often found along roadsides happily interpreting her impressions of the southeast. "I love to paint in serene areas with the sounds of nature all around. I am also at ease on a busy street in the city. I have spent a good portion of my life doing portraiture and feel it is time to combine the people and the land. My Art has taken me in many directions allowing me to accumulate a wealth of experiences. It is truly a priviledge to be an artist."
Barbara currently teaches oil painting with an emphasis in plein air. She is listed in "Who's Who in American Art", and her paintings are exhibited and collected widely.
