With sea, sky or tree before her, Trish gestures her painting surface with organic movements. She translates the essence of the landscape into color, texture, and shape. Trish documents not only the history of the landscape, but also the history of the painting's surface.
Prior to moving to Florida in 2001 Trish taught art at the high school, community college, and private levels. She was actively involved in exhibiting and showing her work with four one-woman shows from 1993 to 1999 along with several group exhibitions. She has been selected for several juried outdoor fine art shows and gallery shows mostly in Florida. Trish exhibits with several area art groups during the year. She participates in area plein air paint outs, teaches small classes and gives demos and talks. She has work in Canada, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic as well as public and private venues in the United States.
