Venice Plein Air is located on the southwest coast of Florida in southern Sarasota county serving Venice and nearby communities and keys. Artists that live near Venice and want to actively participate in plein air activities are invited and welcome. To get involved email: Karen Hitt
MAP Report: - I hope VPA members will take advantage of our group and will come out to greet fellow artist's and paint; which is the whole concept of MAP's. Meet And Paint. Weather is cool, sometimes downright cold. But, boy it makes for some nice crisp colors. Adding a Saturday paintout for those of you that can't make Wednesdays.
Next Mingle and Paint: Feb 20, Wed - Painting at the Dempseys place in Venice at 9am-until. Bay front 5 acres of lush Florida landscape, dock on bay, koi pond, azaleas are in bloom all over with beautiful color! If you want, bring a dish to share and we'll have a potluck picnic lunch on the grounds after the morning session.
